If you are one of those salespeople wait to see how much money the consumer is worth before you make a deal, you are one of those that gives the business a bad name and fall under "shady". |

| 4. Written by Derrick on April 15, 2012 from fall river, massachusetts, US Hay frustrated your not supposed to give them a price the name of the game is to make money ,you sound like a weak salesman to me you had to go to your manager to get over on that 1000 dollars ,and ask him what to say when you got caught with the internet price you suck, and jack you can tell this guy suckkssss. So true about that credit criminal yes that is why they had to send it in too many banks to try and get you approved that is why they couldn't give you the price loser ,instead of writing on here maybe you should pay attention to your credit and pay your bills ,because if you were a 700 that would never happen you would've been driving away 20 minutes later maybe we should do a write up on your credit history !!!!!I can't stand these weiners that cried about how to dealership said them wrong when they haven't paid anybody in their whole life and act like its our fault we can't get them approved |
| 5. Written by jackoff on February 23, 2012 from troy, new york, US in nys you have 72 hrs to complete the insurance change after transferring plates. So it is completely legal to transfer plates to a new car and then do the change on monday. So you obviously were new in the business to not have known that and are bitter because you didn't have what it takes to make it. And you know probably work somewhere making 40k a yr. haha ...and bart you probably have poor credit because you can't pay your bills so they couldn't give you a price because they had to wait to see what the bank said. If they could even approve you |
| 6. Written by FrustratedFormerSalesman on December 12, 2011 from albany, new york, US I will tell you that I worked for about four months at Saratoga Nissan. I have never seen such shadiness in all my life. The instruct their salesmen, half of whom are convicted felons or drug addicts (pervasive in the capital region in this industry) to lie to customers. An example would be when a customer would come in and ask about a used car. Management wouldn't even tell the sales people what the car was selling for, but they would then quote a price on average $1,000 higher than what it was listed for on the internet, in an attempt to pad their profit. The did this a couple of times to people that had already seen the car they were interested in online, and when they got busted in a lie, the sales people were told to lie and say it was a "prep fee" that isn't shown on the site. That is illegal. ANOTHER thing they do, which is a biggie, is that they would let cars leave their lot on the weekend without a legal, proper insurance change. It went like this: You come in and buy a car on a Sat or Sun. Insurance companies aren't open Sundays and they have limited hours on Saturday (and those are the bigger insurance companies that have Sat hours; Local small insurance companies DO NOT.) They would have the salesperson leave a voicemail message for the buyer's agent with the information, then let the person drive off the lot without proper insurance cards, saying that they would be faxed on Monday! They can't even do a legal insurance change til Monday, SO PEOPLE WERE DRIVING AROUND ALL WEEKEND ILLEGALLY WITHOUT PROPER INSURANCE!!!!! That's a misdemeanor in NYS, and God help you if you get in an accident. Your fault or not, you're screwed. |
